Apart from having to drag myself to school,
the past few weeks had been rather fulfilling.

I got to meet the pretty people at least twice a week.

Feels good to see the albums on FB
multiply after each gathering we have. (:

Surprisingly, CNY 2009 was not too bad.

Previously I wasn’t in the CNY mood at all,
despite all the festive songs, décor, goodies…

I only started to experience the CNY mood on day 1.
(in the late evening when the elders decided to start playing poker.
In which case, I was the youngest participant in the game.)

Lady luck was gleaming at me on day 1.

I reckon she was busy smiling
at the others on day 2 and the subsequent days.
(Given that I only suffered minimal losses.)

Nevertheless, I managed to “break-even” the winnings from day 1,
with the losses from day 2 and day 7.

No complaints on my side,
as long as everyone had fun.

Apparently, the elders told my dad that I had been trained well.
(Private joke amongst those in the game.)

I’m definitely looking forward to the next game with the elders.
