I guess I had just transformed myself
into some sorta nocturnal being.

I find myself responding better to the
syllabus in the dead of the night.

when no one’s online.
when my dearest siblings are asleep.
when I’m pretty sure the phone won’t ring,
as much as it does in the day.

But yeah, I’m cool with being a nocturnal being,
so long as I warm up better to my books!
