JELLY...
is the term to describe the condition of my legs today.
I have this very bad habit of doing little warm-ups and no warm-down.
Despite those jelly-like legs,
I still went ahead to run again today.
This time, I started jogging even later than yesterday.
Today’s jog isn’t as smooth as yesterday’s.
I had intermittent stops in between.
My hair band was falling off, my shoe-lace came undone,
my phone almost dropped...
Anyhow, when I came outta the room dressed in my sports attire,
everyone started to object to my very-clear-intention-to-run.
Even before I could ask Ms Yang the second for a favour,
she firmly said:
today I am not going to lend you my itouch.
(I have this habit of listening to songs when i jog.)
Baby yang started reminding me
about how her tutor got groped around the area.
And when that din work,
she started scaring me with the forces that I am most afraid of.
Still... it didn’t dim my intention to run.
Instead I told her that I will bring my phone along.
This was how I ended up jogging with a phone
and a towel on my right
and baby yang’s itouch on my left.
Honestly I went out running with my heart in my mouth.
I thought the route would be filled
with familiar runners just like yesterday.
Instead, it was just the exact opposite.
The route was so much much more quiet and dark.
Thank goodness I came home safely.

This facade is too painful to bear.
I didn’t know the reflection of agony could be so unsightly.
I guess...
At the end I want to be standing at the beginning with you.
